Recall that Fubara allegedly issued a stern ultimatum to all commissioners approved by FCT minister, Emperor Nysome Wike, to resign by Friday 15th December, er or face immediate dismissal.
“Full delimitation details, including locations, number of Polling Units, registered voters, and Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVCs) collected in each constituency will be uploaded to our website for public information.”
He also alleged that even after leaving office, Wike still had a say in government operations and how the governor was managing the affairs of the state.

The tribunal’s decision comes after a petition was filed by the LP and APC candidates, contesting Fubara’s victory.

So far, over 10 of the Commissioners have resigned their appointment and more are anticipated to follow suit as the polity hits harder.
This is a sequel to the defection of the 27 lawmakers elected under the platform of the PDP to APC.
Recall that 27 lawmakers announced their defection from the PDP to the APC last weekend which had triggered mixed reactions from all and sundry.
This came a few minutes after the demolition of the House of Assembly complex started.
Wike made the call while reacting to the crisis in Rivers State House of Assembly where 27 lawmakers elected under the platform of PDP defected to the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC.
Recall that the legislative arm of the state has been in serious crisis following their bid to impeach the governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara.
“Anybody protesting in my name should be arrested. They are all agents of Governor Yahaya Bello trying to confuse the state and possibly in Abuja.
“All Tinubu is interested in is the economy, where the money is, and he’s planted his people. Security, banditry, and others appear irritant to him.” He said.
“The recent supplementary allocation of N15bn for the construction of a new residence for the Vice president is both shocking and disheartening considering the many important challenges facing the country.” He further stated
The executive council meeting came after Tinubu called the warring factions loyal to Akeredolu and Aiyedatiwa for the resolution of the political crisis in the state.
He added that projects to be funded with the loans were determined based on economic evaluation and the expected contribution to the country’s development
The APC candidate, who was present in the courtroom on Tuesday, wanted the court to direct INEC to declare him the winner of the March governorship election in Rivers.
