Kanu’s address was a sequel to the Eastern Security Network, ESN, warning to herdsmen, thugs, and vigilante outfits operating in the Southeast as it marks its third anniversary.
“The raid operation was carried out on Monday 31 July 2023, when troops were alerted to the violent activities of the irredentist group enforcing the illegal 2 weeks sit-at-home order in Onitsha, Nnewi, and Iheme Obosi in Anambra State, as well as New Market in Enugu state.”
The protesters were described as the IPOB’s White Angels shielding the entire Biafra land, while they matched peacefully, demanding the immediate release of Kanu.
The alleged executioner, following her arrest in Imo State, had reportedly confessed to killing five persons so far.
“However, efforts made to get the reaction of the state police command were unsuccessful as the command’s spokesman DSP Daniel Ndukwe did not answer calls from our correspondent.” Source said
