Peter Okoye Reveals Identities Of 17 Yahoo Boys Impersonating Him Online

Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has exposed 17 internet fraudsters popularly known as Yahoo Boys, who scammed some of his fans by impersonating him online.

Naija News reports that the award-winning singer took to his Twitter page to share the identities of the fraudsters who have been arrested and interrogated with full evidence. According to Peter Okoye, the 17 suspects have all confessed to the crime and would be charged in court very soon. The singer said that the fraudsters were exploiting the platform through fake giveaways. He wrote: “My dear people! Most especially those on Facebook! Take a good look at some of the fraudsters you are indirectly paying your hard earned money into the bank account they created as PETER OKOYE all in the name of “ZOOM GIVEAWAY”! “Over 17 of them have been arrested and interrogated with full evidence! They all confessed and have been charged to Court! And they since confessed in court that there are still over 100s of them out there! This is another story for another day! Happy weekend”

‘We Don Change Am For Them’

Meanwhile, Mr P recently said that the Nigerian government has messed with the wrong generation. The singer stated this while reacting to trending audio alleged to be the voice of the vice presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Kashim Shettima. The voice in the audio revealed plans of uprooting Igbos from Lagos state and handing it over to the original owners of the state. The voice alleged that some Yorubas informed him that Northerners were the ones who gave the Igbos the ease to take over Lagos. The voice stated that after four years they would make sure that Igbos are no longer useful in the Southeast. Reacting to the audio via Twitter, Mr P said that the youths are showing the government that they are now forensic analysts.
