Orji Kalu Express Sadness Over Death Of Davido’s Son, Ifeanyi

The Chief Whip of the 9th Senate, Orji Uzor Kalu has expressed sadness over the death of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi.

Kalu in his reaction to the death of Ifeanyi disclosed that he has announced the cancellation of his official engagements for Tuesday. Naija News had earlier reported that Ifeanyi drowned on Monday while Davido and his fiance, Chioma Rowland, were away from their residence located at Banana Island, Lagos. The development has stirred reactions across all boards as Nigerians and celebrities beyond the walls of this country express their sadness. Ifeanyi’s death is coming at the time Davido and his fiancee are planning to tie the knot in 2023. Meanwhile, the Lagos State police command has picked up all the domestic staff who were in the house during the incident for investigation. Kalu while reacting to the incident on his Facebook page said he is deeply saddened and prayed that God will accept prayers on Ifeanyi’s behalf. He wrote, “Dear David/Chioma, I am sober, I am deeply saddened by the loss of your son, Ifeanyi. I have cancelled my official engagements today to mourn him quietly. “Ifeanyi will be missed by everyone. May the Creator accept our prayers on his behalf.”
