Nigeria police makes new appointment

CSP Okuwobi Oluseyi Olabisi has been named by the Nigeria Police Force as the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Nigeria Police Trust Fund (NPTF).

Suleiman Abba, the Chairman of the NPTF Board of Trustees, made the announcement in a statement on Monday.

Abba, a former Inspector General, said Okuwobi will increase public awareness of the mandate of the fund and establish sustainable public relations.

She was the Divisional Police Officer of the Ejigbo Police Division, Lagos, until she was named.

Okuwobi worked in the states of Delta, Benue, Oyo, and Lagos at various times.

The officer was the PRO of the Cooperative and Multipurpose Society of Nigeria Police Limited, Lagos.

Okuwobi has worked as a United Nations Police (UNPOL) Public Information Officer (PIO).

The United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) is part of UNPOL.
