Buhari has exhibited incompetency in managing Nigeria’s heterogeneity- Col Dangiwa.

A former governor of Kaduna state, Rtd Colonel Abubakar Dangiwa Umar, has described the Nigerian President, Mohammadu Buhari, as incompetent in managing Nigeria’s diverse ethnicity.

Colonel Dangiwa, in a press release yesterday, identified that the incompetency of the President has been the main cause of insurrection in many parts of the country.

The Rtd Colonel who expressed disapproval on the IPOB’s use of violence to achieve their aims, asserted that they should be held responsible to account for the death of many security agents and arson committed in the South East.

He further advised the government to employ nonviolent method in addressing the issue of insurrection, noting that justice, fairness and equity are the most appropriate means of building a strong nation, especially one with diverse ethnicity.

Countering the notion that secession will assuage the social-political problems facing the nation, he stated that none of the units that make up the nation will fare better in a balkanized state, stating that Nigeria is dubbed the giant if Africa because of its diversity.
