BREAKING: Train Crushes Lagos Govt Staff Bus, Injures Scores
Several persons have sustained varying degrees of injuries after a passenger train crushed a Lagos State Government staff bus on its way from Ikotun en route to Alausa, the state secretariat, at the PWD area of the state.
The accident happened around 7 am on Thursday.
According to the spokesperson for the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, Taofiq Adebayo, the rescue operation has commenced.
“The accident recorded many casualties as the bus is fully loaded with Lagos State government staff members going to the office this morning.”
“Lagos State authorities are currently working on rescuing victims of an accident involving a Lagos State Government staff bus with registration no 04A- 48LA and a moving train at PWD, Ikeja area of the state.
The Director, of the Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, Adebayo Taofiq, confirmed the accident in a statement.
