Video: Gov. Orthom lashes out on the federal government over insecurity and Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest.

The governor of Benue State, His Excellency, Governor Orthom, has lashed out on the federal government, demanding they use the same energy used to arrest Nnamdi Kanu to curtail the activities of the Fulani bandits, who go about causing mayhem to different communities, especially in the Southern part of the country.

The governor, while reacting to the news of Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest, said the federal government should exhibit the same will and determination to arrest the Fulani herdsmen, especially Miyatti Allah. “If the federal government have demonstrated capacity and can arrest Nnamdi Kanu, they should exhibit the same zeal and will and decision to arrest these Fulani herdsmen that are terrorizing our state and our country”; he said.

The governor who expressed shock at the length the federal government could go to arrest Nnamdi Kanu, who was living abroad, said if the same effort is implemented, the activities of the Fulani herdsmen would be a thing of the past.
