Tragedy as Lawyer Slumps, Dies After Court Sittings in Port Harcourt

One Barrister Eze Agala has reportedly passed away after collapsing, causing a huge dismay and bewilderment among his peers.

Barrister Eze who is from Ibaa in the Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, collapsed as he exited the Magistrate Court building on Moscow Road, Port Harcourt.

Our correspondent gathered that he was quickly taken to the Police Clinic, where his death was confirmed.

Meanwhile, the Port Harcourt branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has yet to make a statement regarding the incident at the time of filing this report.

However, Felix Ashimole, another lawyer from the state, gives credence to the development via a WhatsApp message he circulated across various groups in the state.
