Soludo Congratulates Christ the King College, Onitsha for Defeating US, Turkey Schools, Restates Commitment to Global Standard Education

Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo CFR, has congratulated the students of Christ the King College, Onitsha for winning the World Affairs Challenge 2024.

Governor Soludo expressed delight over the victory, on Wednesday, 10th of April, 2024 while emphasizing that Education System in Anambra State under his administration will continue to enjoy the best support as vital resources have been put to Schools to redefine the pathway for students to achieve global excellence.

Soludo said:
“Today, we made another history, breaking a 32-year jinx, as Students of Christ the King College (CKC), Onitsha, won the World Affairs Challenge 2024! The first in the country.

“This victory underscores our commitment to educational reforms in Anambra State. From our merit-based recruitment of 5000 teachers to the free distribution of over 2000 laptops to school teachers in the State, and the free basic education we have mainstreamed across all government-owned public schools.

“Through the implementation of these disruptive initiatives and allocating vital resources to schools, we have redefined the pathway for Anambra students to achieve global excellence.

“Kudos to the staff and students of the CKC for this remarkable achievement!

“We shall continue to do more.”
