Re-Run Election: How Hoodlums Disrupt, Destroy Election Materials in Enugu

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reported a disturbing incident during the re-run election in Enugu South 1 State Constituency.

According to a statement shared on social media, the election was disrupted by hoodlums, leading to the destruction of election materials and obstruction of voters.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported, and all INEC officials were safely evacuated with the assistance of security agencies. Despite the disruption, the electoral process in the Jalingo/Yorro/Zing Federal Constituency of Taraba State is reportedly progressing peacefully across three Local Government Areas.
