RIP: PDP Mourns as Chairman, Fatai Adams Passes Away

In a somber development, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State is mourning the untimely passing of its Chairman, Fatai Adams. Mr. Adams reportedly succumbed to a brief illness in the early hours of Wednesday, February 14, 2024, leaving the party and its members in shock and devastation.

Expressing profound sadness, the Ondo PDP described Adams’ passing as not only sad but also traumatic, especially considering the challenging times the party is facing. The State Working Committee (SWC) of the party has declared a three-day mourning period, during which party flags will fly at half-mast, and all party Secretariats will remain closed across the state.

Fatai Adams, a former Member of the Ondo State House of Assembly (2007-2011), was elected State Chairman in August 2020. He also served as the Deputy Chairman of the PDP in Ondo State. His sudden death has deeply saddened his family, friends, and colleagues, and the party has extended its heartfelt condolences to all affected by this loss.

As the Ondo PDP and the entire state come to terms with this unfortunate event, they will undoubtedly remember Fatai Adams for his dedicated service and commitment to the party. May his soul rest in peace.
