Kogi Polls: Sen. Melaye Raises Alarm, Alleges Massive Rigging

Senator Dino Melaye, the flag bearer of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in today’s Kogi State governorship election has finally exercised his franchise despite the earlier reports of his conspicuous absence at his polling unit.

Arise TV had earlier reported that Senator Melaye was nowhere to be found at his polling unit which triggered mixed reactions.

The PDP’s Guber candidate who earlier spoke on his official Facebook page encouraging the electorates in Kogi state to resist evil later surfaced to address the media about massive rigging ongoing in some notable areas of the state.

Addressing the media in an exclusive interview, Melaye explained the circumstances surrounding the state’s elections concerning some notable areas including Ogori/Mangogo where elections were truncated and messed up with rigging.

Calling on the Kogites to resist APC rigging in Ogori/Mangogo, Senator Melaye alleges that the elections have been massively rigged by the APC while calling for a halt to the exercise.
