The telecommunications network surprised its customers with the gesture which kept millions of customers wondering about the purpose of the network provider.
In the early hours of Saturday, November 11, 2023, the customers of the Mobile Telecommunications Network who were indebted to the Network Provider were in razzmatazz as their debts were cleared completely.
Wondering the reason for the gesture, De Erudite Media discovered that the Network provider could be tactically interested in enticing their customers ahead of the Yuletide concerning the enormous debt that most of the users owe. It could also be to assist many who left their SIMs dormant as a result of the overwhelming debts they owe.
Meanwhile, reacting to the development some concerned customers allege that it is all about business strategy while others believe that MTN is genuinely assisting its customers.
Surprisingly, most people who before the debt cancellation owed MTN between 1-10k are still being allowed to borrow airtime if they wish. Some people have expressed their perplexity over the development.
