Gov Makinde appoints Ex-Lawmaker as 3SC sole administrator

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has approved the appointment of a former Deputy Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Babatunde Olaniyan, as Sole Administrator of Shooting Stars Sports Club also known as 3SC.

Makinde announced the appointment on Friday.

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that Olaniyan represented Ibadan North Constituency 1 at the Oyo State House of Assembly between 2011 and 2015, during which he served as Deputy Speaker.

He won the election on the platform of the Accord Party (AP).

Makinde, in the appointment letter signed on his behalf by Secretary to the State Government, Olubamiwo Adeosun, urged the new sole administrator to discharge his duties with “absolute loyalty”.

He said, “I am delighted to inform you that the Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Governor ‘Seyi Makinde, has graciously approved your appointment as a Sole Administrator for Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) with effect from 24th February 2022″.

Olaniyan holds a Bachelor of Education degree in Kinetics and Health Education from the University of Ibadan.

He has served as Chairman, Oyo State Football Referee Academy since 2004 and has also served as Premier League Football Match Commissioner since 2010.
