Breaking: Church in Grief As Gunmen Kill Another Catholic Priest in Nigeria

A yet-to-be identified gunmen have reportedly shot dead a Catholic priest from the Archdiocese of Benin Nigeria, Rev Fr. Charles Ikechi.

Reverend Fr. Ikechi was reportedly killed yesterday when he was attacked by the suspected gunmen at Amufi in Benin. They were said to have made away with his car, and his phone.

Consequently, the remains of the late Fr. were discovered the following morning.

According to reports, Rev. 𝐅𝐫 Charles was Ordained to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Benin last year August 2022. He spent just 10 months in the priesthood.

Fr. Charles, may your soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace.
