AFCON Qualifiers: Super Eagles defeat Benin Republic 1-0 in Porto Novo

Super Eagles of Nigeria have defeated their host, the Squirrels of Benin Republic one gaol to nil in Porto Novo this evening.

A 93rd minute goal from Super Eagles‘ striker, Paul Onuachu ended the 8-year home record of Benin Republic who haven’t lost at home for that long.

This victory has taken the three-time African champions to top of the table with 11 points from 5 matches.

The official Super Eagles Twitter handle gave the update of the match result.
