Zion Ministry: Catholic Priest Takes Stance as Evang Ebuka Obi, Jonathan’s Padlock Saga Trends

A catholic priest, Reverend Father Kelvin Ugwu has taken yet another moment to react to a trending video of the overseer of Zion Prayer Outreach, Evangelist, Ebuka Obi, and one Mr. Jonathan being portrayed as a native doctor who padlocked someone’s destiny.

Reverend Fr. Ugwu made the reaction yesterday, in a quest to wake once again the rationality in Christians in situations that are not uncommon in society nowadays.

Consequently, a lot of people who are followers and loyalists to Zion Ministery, Ebuka Obi as well as many social media commentators have been triggered to counter the motion of Fr. Ugwu’s submission, while others add volume to his voice.

Details of his comment are below:

Between Mr. Jonathan the padlock and Bro Ebuka Obi the Opener

Beyond your love for Ebuka and the mindset some of you have gradually developed towards being hostile to anyone telling you anything contrary to what you want to hear about Ebuka’s ministry, can I seek your permission and the permission of your mental faculty to use the video that is going round about him and one Mr. Jonathan the padlock (or native doctor as he called him) to teach something and correct an age long falsehood without you seeing it as an attack on his person?

Thank you very much for your understanding.

What I want to teach and correct is simple:

NO ONE CAN LOCK ANYONE’S DESTINY.

If at all destiny can be locked, it is only the one who unlocked the destiny that can “lock” it.

It is very laughable that someone can tell you I locked your destiny with a padlock or I locked your destiny in a bottle, and you believe.

In truth, for those who believe such tales, what is truly locked is their senses. It is now time to unlock your senses and learn that such does not exist.

And if you still want to argue, begin by answering the question “What do I mean when I say destiny?”

What is destiny?

Do you mean your destiny is to have cars, build houses, or travel abroad? So God programmed you from the beginning that you will buy cars or have money? Then he programmed another to be poor and sick. Or the poor ones, including some of your relatives, someone who locked their destiny with a padlock?

Is that what you mean by destiny or am I wrong? I hope I am wrong.

Or maybe you should educate yourself so you don’t just use words carelessly.
