UPDATE: Re-arrest of Kanu: See More Reactions On What Will Befall Nigeria If Anything Untoward Happen to Nnamdi Kanu

There has been topsy-turvy in Nigeria and across the globe following the re-arrest of the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by the Nigerian Department of Security Service on Sunday, 27th June 2021.

According to reports gathered by De Erudite Media Team, the incident has prompted lots of mixed reactions from the disciples of the group’s leader from within and across the country.

Consequently, some members of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, in a protest stormed Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State, demanding the unconditional release of their leader.

The group in their numbers were chanting to the eulogies of their leader while saying that they will not relent on the agitations until Biafra is restored while warning that they will not let go if the federal government dare unleash harm on Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

In the same vein, a foremost Nationalist and First Republican Aviation Minister, Chief Mbazurike Amechi has warned that Ndigbo would not take it lightly if anything untoward happened to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Chief Mbazurike reacting to the alleged re-arrest, torture, arraignment and detention by the federal government of Nigeria, said that the Nigerian DSS lack the legal backups to carry out such actions.

He further warned that Ndigbo should not be treated like slaves in Nigeria.

” Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has not committed any offence and if anybody thinks that he has, let him be taken to the court and be given a fair trial. Nobody, I say it again, nobody should beat or maltreat him otherwise, Ndigbo will react”.

” This is the time Ndigbo should react to what the Federal government is doing to Kanu. What is the Federal government doing to the people killing others in the north and sacking people from their Communities all over Nigeria”?

Earlier in a message, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe warned that no harm should befall Mazi Nnamdi Kanu under the auspices of the federal government of Nigeria.

Senator Abaribe who reinstated his readiness to sign Kanu a surety over and again affirmed that blood is more viscous than water.

Nonetheless, members of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, and its loyalists are cautioned to be civil and still toward the next line of actions.
