The service, held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Lion of Judah Parish, in Isiokpo, within the Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, saw the attendance of numerous dignitaries, guests, and a host of mourners, all united in grief and remembrance.
Herbert Wigwe, alongside his wife, son, and the former Group Chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group), Abimbola Ogunbanjo, were passengers in the ill-fated Airbus Helicopters EC 130B4, registered as N130CZ.
Late Dr. Wigwe reportedly lost his life in a helicopter crash alongside his wife, son, and former chairman of the Nigeria Exchange Group, Abimbola Ogunbanjo, on Friday.
A top source also revealed on Saturday, that one Bimbo Ogunbanjo was also on the flight. Bimbo Ogunbanjo is the son of businessman, Chris Ogunbanjo.
