To a lot of Ndi Anambra, the best news in recent times is Dr Obiora Okonkwo’s declaration to vie for the governorship position in the state under the platform of PDP. This came as a gentle breeze of relief as Ndi Anambra had continually searched for who will mount the rudder and sail the ship of the state to greater heights.
Having observed his dexterity in management which has reflected glaringly in his business life, one can comfortably beat his chest that Anambra will be an Eldorado if Dr Obiora Okonkwo is at the pinnacle of the state’s affairs. But this can only be a wish if the support of Ndi Anambra is wanting.
As the date for PDP primaries edges closer, it should not be lost on Ndi Anambra that the decision they make will determine the face of Anambra in the nearest future.
Indeed, the eagle (Obiora Okonkwo) has landed, let us all embrace him.
