Nnamdi Kanu: Case adjourned to a new date, Court gives reasons.

The renewed trial of the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu which started on Monday 17th January 2022 has been adjourned after tuesday court appearance till January 19 after he objected to the fresh charges brought against him by the Federal Government.

Recall that the Federal Government had filed fresh terrorism charges against the detained leader of the proscribed IPOB leader before the Federal High Court on Monday, January 17. As a result of the newly added charges, the initial seven counts charges bordering on treasonable felony and terrorism, against him, increased to 15 county charges.

De Erudite media however gathered that at his trial today which was held at the Federal High Court Abuja this morning, Mazi Kanu through his lawyers objected to the fresh charges and this promoted the adjournment of the case in order for all sides to prepare for the new added charges.
