Niger Coup: Senator Shehu Sani Reacts As Senators From Northern Nigeria Declare Position on Tinubu’s Request

Senator Shehu Sani has expressed delight towards the Senate for heeding his call not to support the use of military power on the Niger Republic.

Shehu stated this, recalling his position concerning the implications of such a move amidst the growing rifts in the Niger Republic while calling for peace and not war.

He has further called on the First lady and wife of the President to champion the cause of peace and not war
“After calling on the Nigeria Senators not to use military power on the Niger Republic, I’m happy to testify that the Senators representing Northern Nigeria have answered this call and they have resolved their position on the request of President Tinubu to seek permission.”
