Insecurity: Biafra Heroes Day and IPOB sit-at-home order, Amb. Celestine Anadi calls on South East Governors Forum to declare May 30 of every year as Work Free Day.

In the light of the palpable security threats and incessant massacre of men and officers of security outfits, including innocent citizens, especially within the south-east geographical enclave, the Chairman Odimma Anambra Forum/Foundation (OAF), Ambassador Celestine Anadi (Ezeugo), calls on the south-eastern governors to put into place legislation that will legally ensure the observance of a public holiday on every 30th of May.

According to him, this will aid to immortalize men, women and children who lost their lives in the course of the Biafran war, and ensure the residents of the zone are protected especially in this time of turmoil.

Speaking with the media representatives of the forum, the chairman highlighted that declaring every 30th of May as a public holiday will help douse the tension in the land and put an end to the continues loggerhead between the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the government every 30th of May of every year.
