Gunmen strikes in Anambra, destroy properties.
Some hoodlums have attacked Neni Community in Anaocha Local Government Area, Anambra state, in the noon of August 14, 2021.
The hoodlums who were purportedly said to be members of the armed wing of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra-IPOB, Eastern Security Network- ESN, were on the check to ensure that people comot with the sit-at-home order imposed by the leaders of IPOB.
According to various reports, at Oye Neni they met a good number of motorcycle riders going about their businesses, chased them from their motorcycles and subsequently set the motorcycles ablaze while running away with few.
Recall the IPOB imposed a sit-at-home order in the South East on Tuesday September 14, 2021 in remembrance of their members who were killed by the Nigerian security operatives.
The Police public spokesperson in the state has not given any official statement yet on the attack.
