Deaths as Bandits attack Kaduna.
The residents of Tsauwa village in Basari council area of Kaduna state, Today, 6th July, 2021, witnessed a horrifying event as Bandits stormed the village, killing, at least, 19 people and injuring others.
The attack which started around 5:45 in the evening, saw the village deserted as many residents scamper for safety.
It was gathered that the Bandits drove in on motorbikes and started to shoot in a sporadic manner, which resulted to the massive number of deaths.
It was also gathered that many houses were razed down, as the residents complained of the reluctancy of the security agents to hasten to their call to salvage the situation.
A source revealed that, apart from the those confirmed dead, a good number of the residents are still missing. “Nineteen people are confirmed killed and a good number of others are still missing and there is no assurance that they still are alive’, he said.
Police have also confirmed the incident, stating that 18 lives were lost, one critically injured, and others missing. The state’s Commissioner of Police, Sanusi Buba has also directed the agency to ensure the perpetrators of this inhumane act are rounded up.
