Buhari Expresses Disapproval To The Imposition Of State Of Emergency In Anambra.
The Nigerian President, HE Mohammadu Buhari, has expressed disapproval towards the Attorney General’s statement that suggested that a State Of Emergency will be imposed in Anambra if the spate of killing does not abate.
He expressed this during his meeting with the governor of Anambra state, HE Willi Obiano, at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja, on October 7th, 2021.
The president, who affirmed that, save for the recent killings, Anambra has been one of the safest state, revealed to the governor that the thought of declaring a State of Emergency never crossed his mind.
He further charged the state governor to man up to the occasion and terminate the perpetrators of such heinous acts.
