The atmosphere this morning was in garments of an avalanche of tears amidst the pools of blood as a yet to be identified gunmen slaughtered cows, sheep, and goats numbering more than 50 at a Livestock market in Nkwo Igboukwu community in Aguata LGA of Anambra State.

The attack on the market is coming, barely 14hrs that the Aguata LGA Secretariat of the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Soludo, a neighbouring community to Igboukwu, was razed by unknown gunmen.

De Erudite Media gathered that the perpetrators invaded the market this morning, living no livestock alive.

Consequently, the owners and marketers of the slaughtered livestock were spotted saturated with tears as they count their losses.

However, the cause of the attack could not be ascertained at the moment, although some onlookers attributed it to the aftermath of the sit-at-home order in consonance with the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Maazi Nnamdi Kanu’s Court hearing today.

Meanwhile, attempts to obtain a security stance on the incident proved abortive at the time of filing this report.
