BREAKING: CBN Extends Deadline For Return of Old Naira Notes
The Central Bank of Nigeria CBN has finally extended the deadline for the exchange of old naira notes at banks by 10 days.
This was disclosed via a press statement issued on Sunday, by the CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele.
According to Emefiele, the extension is to contain the anticipated effects saying that the new deadline which is February 10, 2023 can not be exceeded.
