Anaocha Day Celebration: Amb. Elijah Onyeagba adds a new feather to his cap.
As an appreciation for his unequalled philanthropy and altruism, the Enugwu-Ukwu-born Nigerian Ambassador to Burundi, Ambassador Elijah Onyeagba, was earlier yesterday Saturday 18 September 2021 honored with a Chieftancy title in recognition for his unwavering effort towards placing Njikoka, Dunukofia and Anaocha constituency in the global limelight.
He was conferred the title “Odezulu Igbo” by the Anaocha Council of Traditional Rulers during the Anaocha Day cum New Yam Festival Celebration which was held at the Anaocha Local Government headquarters, Neni.
Before he received the Award, he was described as a man whose love for the development of the society and mankind is equal to none. He was further charged to continue his good works without being discouraged by cynics.
Masquerades and cultural display also formed part of the event.
