Anambra Governor threatens Banks, Markets which will comply with IPOB’s Mondays sit-at-home Order.

The governor of Anambra State, HE Willie Obiano has threatened to close commercial banks within the State which will further comply with the sit-at-home order imposed by the outlawed Indigenous People Of Biafra-IPOB.

This was part of the outcome of the meeting between the governor and the State Security Council and the head of banks branches in the state held today at the governor’s lodge, Awka, Anambra state.

The governor who pointed out that the sit-at-home compliance negatively affected the Gross Domestic Product GDP of the state, hammered that Banks which continue to obey the order will be closed down.

He, however, assured that adequate security will be out in place to Wade off hoodlums who might want to disrupt peaceful operations of banks on the said day.

He also stated that markets will also be open and transportation companies shall be on duty.

Reacting to this development, a lot of Facebook users who commented under the thread posted on the Anambra Broadcasting Service Official Facebook page, expressed disbelief in the capacity of the government to ensure their safety, while alleging that the governor is trying to put the citizens’ lives at risk.
