Anambra 2021: Dr. Obiora Okonkwo the Best Choice for PDP and Anambra State.

Today, the delegates of the People’s Democratic Party- PDP will head to the polls to elect who they consider capable to bear the Party’s flag for the governorship election in Anambra state. Recall that INEC has scheduled the main election to be held on November 6th, 2021.
The party has a good number of candidates vying for the number one position of the state, but it’s to be emphasised that the most worthy of them is Dr. Obiora Okonkwo for obvious reasons.
Recall that, Obiora Okonkwo has earlier rolled out his 10 points agenda for the total transformation of Anambra state. Starting from social welfare to catering of the senior citizens (retirees) and the most vulnerable among the people, Okonkwo has vowed that his administration, if given the opportunity, would focus on core policy directives in economic development with jobs, revitalization of education with focus on human capital development, planned urbanization and urban renewal (including a brand purpose-built new state civil service secretariat within two years), improved access to basic healthcare with emphasis on preventive healthcare, diaspora engagement (with so many Anambra sons and daughters in the diaspora ready to invest in the development of Anambra with him as governor), rebuilding the ethical infrastructure and poverty eradication through manpower development and capacity building.
The hopes of Ndi Anambra are in the delegates who will make the decision on behalf of the 5 million Ndi Anambra. Electing Obiora Okonkwo today will be a great step towards the redefinition of Anambra state. All eyes are on the delegates to do the needful and what is expected of them at the polls today.
