Nigerian Afrobeat Singer, Shallipopi, Davido’s Manager, Israel DMW, Involve in Fatal Accident
Fast-rising Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Crown Uzama, known professionally as Shallipopi was involved in a car accident inthe early hours of Sunday after his concert in the country’s capital, Abuja.
Israel DMW, the logistics manager for Nigerian music sensation, Davido, took to Instagram to share details of the harrowing experience.
According to Israel, the accident occurred while they were on the way to their hotel after the show. He explained that the collision was caused by another vehicle.
Israel’s Instagram story featured a video showing the aftermath of the accident, with two SUVs visibly damaged. One vehicle had a shattered bonnet, door, and taillight, while the other had a burst front tire.
In his Instagram post, Israel expressed gratitude to God and his ancestors, stating, “Me and Shallipopi just had an accident after a vehicle ran into us on our way back to the hotel after a show. I sat in the front seat while Shali sat at the back. Thanks to God Almighty, thanks to Edo ancestors. No single scratch or injury at all.”
Recall that before the accident, Israel had shared several posts on Instagram indicating his support for Shallipopi, who had performed alongside other notable musicians at the concert on Saturday night.
