FG Gives Update on N25k Conditional Cash Transfer to 15M Households, Restates Eligibility, Warns Against Scammers

The Federal Government has restated its commitment to alleviating the difficult situations in the country through the conditional cash transfer of N25,000 to fifteen million households in Nigeria.

This is a sequel to the official launch of the Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer for 15 million households which is said to be in consonance with the President Tinubu’s agenda.

Recall that the launch was held at the Press Gallery of the State House in Abuja on Tuesday, 17th of October, 2023 coinciding with World Poverty Eradication Day.

To be part of the 15 million households to benefit from the programme, a platform has been launched to enable the collation of names, addresses, phone numbers, and Account details of those who would register.

Eligibility for the programme entails any National Identification Number, or Bank Verification Number BVN, among other things to be filled in the form on the link.

It’s on this note that it is expected that everyone should be wary of the prevalent activities of fraudulent individuals who might come up with different strategies to dupe the gullible in the cause of the programme.

Therefore, follow the instructions strictly and make sure you don’t submit double registrations. Also, once the registrations are successful, do join the links attached for further information about the programme.

However, be warned about fraudsters who would capitalize on the hardships in society to take advantage of this program.
