No fewer than three people were killed on Wednesday when traders took to the streets to protest the sealing of their shops by the state government for not opening for business on Monday.
The state government has earlier today commenced sealing of businesses and stalls that comply with the lingering sit-at-home order.
The governor has earlier issued a statement warning the residents not to heed the order any longer.
This was disclosed by the IPOB’s Lead Counsel, Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor Esq.

The group accused the Supreme Court of bias in the handling of Kanu’s case, saying the apex court was conspiring with the Federal Government, which “wants our leader to die in detention,” given his ill health.
The group further warned that the public should always be aware of the IPOB’s earlier suspension of the lingering Sit-at-home even though a lot of people still stay at home in solidarity with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who is still illegally detained in the custody of the DSS.
