Breaking: Enugu State Govt Commences Sealing of Shops, Business Premises, Others Over “Monday Sit-at-Home”

Following the earlier warning by the government of Enugu state under the administration of Governor Peter Mbah to the general public to disregard the lingering Monday Sit-at-home and other orders allegedly issued by a Finland-based Biafran agitator, Mazi Simon Ekpa, shops and other businesses who comply with the illegal order are being sealed by the security agents.

Several shops and stalls which are under lock and key in compliance with the Monday Sit-at-home order are today, Monday, 24th of July 2023 sealed by the Enugu state government.

  1. Hmmn. It is difficult for our Igbo people to quickly come to terms with the governor owing to the fact that they have been on this for some months. It will take sometime before the fear is gone. Let the Government be liberal with them
