“You know that the South-East has made a collective demand to have Nnamdi Kanu released, and we basically identified with that.” He said.
“Though some Biafrans continued with Monday sit-at-home voluntarily, as our leader predicted, after the suspension order, some criminals and infiltrators hijacked it and started committing crimes and enforcing non-existent Monday sit-at-home.” They said.
According to him, the immediate release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will quicken the much-needed healing process in Nigeria.
The group further warned that the public should always be aware of the IPOB’s earlier suspension of the lingering Sit-at-home even though a lot of people still stay at home in solidarity with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who is still illegally detained in the custody of the DSS.
He, therefore, called on the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), to order the immediate release of the incarcerated leader of IPOB.
In the case of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu Vs. Government of Nigeria, the matter came up, and an ultimatum was issued to the Nigerian Government for a definite hearing.
