Applications for Internship recruitment for various positions at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital UNTH are currently ongoing.
This is a sequel to the announcement made by the management of the institution about the availability of the form, positions, and recruitment procedures.
It would be recalled that the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH) Ituku/Ozalla Enugu began early in the 20th century as a standard general Hospital for Africans constructed by colonial administrators. The institution following the Independence of Nigeria in 1960 was transformed into a general hospital.
It was after the Nigeria Civil War changed to a Specialist Hospital by the then Government of the East Central State, with effect from July 1, 1970. Moreover, by decree number 23 of 1974, the Federal Military Government took over the hospital but left the management in the hands of the Council of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. The University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital became independent in July 1976 with the appointment of an autonomous Management Board.

- Intern Physiotherapist
