Covid-19: Why Nigeria will go for another lockdown.

A total of one thousand, one hundred thirty-three, 1,133, new cases of COVID-19 infections have been recorded in Nigeria.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, announced the figure on Wednesday night in a tweet via its official Twitter account.

NCDC said Lagos State and FCT recorded 397 and 357 cases, respectively, while Kaduna State followed with 81 cases.

The public health agency also recorded five additional COVID-19 related deaths.

Nigeria now has a total of 80,922 confirmed cases and 1,236 deaths.
