Again, Mother of Two Baths Husband With Acid In Rivers
The issue of domestic violence has recently been on the rise in the country. Just in a couple of weeks, different reports have emerged about women pouring hot water, groundnut oil as well and acid on their husbands.
A woman has again bathed her husband with acid on the weekend in Rivers State.
The woman, a native of Akwa Ibom, while her husband, a native of the Agbonchia community in Eleme LGA, Rivers State has been incarcerated by a security group, Nchia Security Council, led by Comr. Abel Oluka, and other teeming youths of the Agbonchia community.
An eyewitness says that the said lady indicted her husband for not giving her money from the community #15,000 that was shared between them and their children from the host community dividends.
Meanwhile, the woman who is a mother of two girls, poured acid on the face of her husband, took his ATM card, and took off before she was caught.
According to a report received by Rivers Mirror; she was seen hiding inside her rooftop ceiling.
The case has been handed over to Eleme Police Command for further investigations while the man is currently receiving medical attention.
