Police arrest two suspected cultists for allegedly killing two during cult clash in Anambra

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the death of two young men killed during a shooting incident that occurred at Tempsite Okpuno, Awka, Anambra State on Wednesday, April 7.

The two suspects, Victor Ikechukwu, 30, and Ifeanyi Uyanne, 35 were arrested by men of the Anambra state police command.

The spokesperson of the state police command, Tochi Ikenga, who disclosed this in a statement, said that the shooting incident which is suspected to be a cult clash left the deceased young men with serious gunshot injuries.

Ikenga said the men were rushed to a nearby hospital but were confirmed dead by a doctor on ground.

The police spokesman added that items recovered from them include one tinted Toyota Corolla Vehicle and one suspected military Cap uniform.
