PHOTOS: Five Judges to Preside Over Peter Obi’s Petition Against Tinubu, APC, INEC

No fewer than five judges are set to preside over the petition by the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi filed against the candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, and President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party has earlier filed a petition against the trio concerning the conduct and outcome of the February, 25th 2023 Presidential election in Nigeria. Meanwhile, in anticipation of the proceedings, the parties involved have had their onus set on getting the best from the tribunal.

Below are reportedly the five distinguished judges to preside over the petition…

  1. Justice Haruna Simon Tsammani – Bauchi State.
  2. Justice Stephen Jonah Adah – Kogi State
  3. Justice Abba Bello Mohammed – Kano State.
  4. Justice Joseph Ikyegh – Benue State.
  5. Justice Monica Bolna’an Dongban-Mensem – Plateau State.

It would be recalled that the Erudite Media reported the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar filed a petition seeking to reclaim the mandate. Atiku has also affirmed that the President-elect, Ahmed Tinubu does not merit the result announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
