Reasons why Anambra PDP delegates should vote Obiora Okonkwo.

Ever since the best governor of Anambra state so far, Mr. Peter Obi, left the office after successfully completing two tenures, Ndi Anambra have been desperately in search of whom will step into his shoes and consolidate his magnificent achievements as the governor. They were cunningly convinced that the incumbent governor, Willie Obiano, was a perfect replacement for him which made Ndi Anambra to unanimously vote for him. But sadly, it turned out to be a facade. Hence the search continued.
This desperate search was what prompted the Ogidi-born industrialist, High Chief Obiora Okonkwo, to take upon himself the responsibility to transform Anambra into an Eldorado. Having heard the wails and calls of Ndi Anambra he said, like the biblical Jesus, send me! This injected a gleam of hope into the minds of Ndi Anambra who have finally seen that perfect replacement for Peter Obi.
Obiora Okonkwo and Peter Obi share some semblances, which makes his candidature apt and divine.
Both are economists. As an economist, Obiora Okonkwo knows the worth of every penny and would meticulously use the economic resources in the state maximally to achieve meaningful development and good governance, without necessarily plunging into debt. This is the secret behind the substantial sum Peter Obi left in Anambra coffers after his tenures. Moreover, in this time of economic quagmire, every state in Nigeria needs an economic think-tank who will conceive, develop and implement economic policies that will help the nation overcome the economic challenges.
Both are also industrialists. Obiora Okonkwo’s success in the industrial sector is untrammelled and unparalleled. He’s divinely endowed with the knack of putting human and material resources together to achieve a goal. Just like Peter Obi, he knows the importance of ensuring good roads network within the state and also ensuring that the lives and properties of anyone within Anambra are safeguarded and protected, which will, without an iota of doubt, make Anambra endearing for local and foreign investors, which undoubtedly will boost the economic capacity of the state.
These are the things that make him “Obiora” – the people’s choice!
While Obi has written his name on the sands of time, Obiora is desirous of etching his name on the heart of Ndi Anambra, this he hopes to achieve through giving ndi Anambra a befitting state that will be deservedly called “The light of the nation”.
As the day for the PDP primary election crawls closer, it is good that PDP delegates remembers that any attempt to abort this dream will forever haunt the state. Let us embrace the eagle for it has perched on the Iroko. Let PDP delegates vote for Obiora. Our destiny lies in our hands!
