JUST IN: My Father Remains Osun State Governor, Adeleke’s Son Declares, Reveals Next Move

Following the news of the disqualification of Ademola Adeleke as the Osun State Governor by the Tribunal, one of the sons of the Governor, Adesina Adeleke popularly known as Sina Rambo, has insisted that his father will remain in office as the governor.

He said this via his Instagram Story on Friday.

A report gathered by De Erudite Media has it that the Osun Election Petitions Tribunal annulled the July 16 governorship election results and declared the former governor, Gboyega Oyetola, as the winner of the exercise.

Reacting to the judgment, Adeleke’s son, Adesina said, “Two judgments were issued today at the tribunal. One in favor of PDP. Nothing changed. Ademola Adeleke remains the governor of Osun State.

“We move to the appeal court. Peace be still. The mandate of Osun will not be stolen. H.E.Ademola Adeleke remains the Governor of Osun State.”

Sina Rambo expressed optimism that the mandate of his father Governor Ademola Adeleke remains intact as they forge to the Appeal Court to seek justice.

The development has triggered a series of reactions from Nigerians as supporters of both parties maintain a parallel line with the judgment of the Tribunal.

Some Political commentators have belittled Sina Rambo, saying that the office of the Governor is not a family business and that the court’s decision stance until proven otherwise by an appeal Court of competent jurisdiction.
