Court Rules on Case of EFCC Vs Okorocha
The High Court of the Federal Capital Territory Friday, delivered a judgment on the case filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC against former Governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha.
The court consequently dismissed the case in favour of Rochas Okorocha.
Delivering judgment, Justice Yusuf Halilu, described the EFCC’s charges of fraud and abuse of office against Okorocha as an abuse of judicial process because the anti-graft agency had filed a similar charge against the defendant at the Federal high court.
