The elder statesman said these while speaking at the launch of a book titled, ‘Pillars of Statecraft: Nation-building in a changing world’ authored by his daughter, Dr. Kofo Obasanjo-Blackshire, in Lagos.
“There is nothing Iwanyawau can say that will make me turn against the Igbo because I have blood and family ties with them and I will continue to love them despite this outrageous provocation.” He added.
The former president, further, demanded that BVAS and Server officials be changed in that regard.
“There is no political relevance in the recent comment by Obasanjo in endorsing a Presidential candidate ahead of the February 25 presidential poll.” APC maintained.
“We missed the road when the whole world was talking of education for all and we did not follow that. It was a bad miss.” He said.
“He said that having honest people as rebels remained one of the greatest assets for rebuilding a nation.”
