Israel Defense Force Mourns Deaths of Dozen of Soldiers in Gaza

The Israeli Defense Force has again lost its soldiers in the ongoing war against Hamas in the Gaza stripes.
The death of the soldiers was announced by the IDF on Wednesday, describing the incident as irreparable.

This is as the United Nations General Assemble UNGA voted for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
Recall that ever since the eruption of the crisis on October 7, 2023, thousands of people have lost their lives following an incessant human onslaught.

Today, the IDF regrets to announce the deaths of the following soldiers, who fell in combat in northern Gaza:

🕯️LTC Tomer Grinberg, 35 years old, the Commander of the Golani Brigade’s 13th Battalion

🕯️MAJ Roei Meldasi, 23 years old, a company commander of the Golani Brigade’s 13th Battalion

🕯️MAJ Moshe Avram Bar On, 23 years old, a company commander of the Golani Brigade’s 51st Battalion

🕯️SGT Achia Daskal, 19 years old, a combat soldier in the Golani Brigade

🕯️SSGT Oriya Yaakov, 19 years old, a combat soldier in the 664th Brigade

🕯️CPT Liel Hayo, 22 years old, a platoon commander of the Golani Brigade’s 51st Battalion

🕯️Maj. Ben Shelly, 26 years old, a company commander of Unit 669

🕯️MSgt Rom Hecht, 20 years old, a combat soldier in Unit 669

The IDF expresses its deepest condolences to the families and will continue to stand by them.
