The ongoing crisis rocking the Rivers state government has attracted the attention of concerned citizens airing their views on the issues at stake.
Reacting, the National Leader of South-South/ PANDEF, Chief E. K. Clark, OFR, CON asked the President of Nigeria, Senator Bola Tinubu to call the Federal Capital Territory FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, and the Security Agents in Rivers State to order.
On his part, the former leader of the Niger Delta Militants, Asari Dokubo has cautioned his men against taking sides in the feud between the immediate former governor Wike, and the successor, Fubara.
“Fubara now wants me to help him fight his Oga. Don’t mind him, he’s not an Ijaw man. Nobody should join the fight. I am not interested.”
“Wike was governor for 8 years, I opposed his government but he never sent anyone to come and kill me. But this one that just started fighting me from day one, now he wants my help….”
