There was a euphoric atmosphere of celebrations in Adazi-Nnukwu of Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, as the Prime Minister (Odu) of Adazi-Nnukwu, Chief Kanu Ugwumba’s daughter tied the nuptial knot with her heartthrob.
The epic event which took place at the Regent’s country home was graced by several distinguished cream of society, including former Member Representing Anaocha, Njikoka, and Dunukofia Federal Constituency, Chief Dozie Nwankwo (Onyendozi), Senator Anambra Central Senatorial District, Chief Victor Umeh, Chairman Anambra State Sports Commission, Hon Estate Oyedum.
Others were: the President General of Adazi-Nnukwu, Ichie Engr. CY Anetoh, the Adazi-Nnukwu Cabinet Chiefs, Ndi Nze na Ozo society, and men and women of goodwill from Adazi-Nnukwu and beyond.
In a vote of thanks, the Prime Minister of Adazi-Nnukwu, Chief Kanu Ugwumba stated that he could not contain his delight in the success of the occasion while thanking the good people of Adazi-Nnukwu and others for making time to honor their invitations.
Chief Ugwumba significantly didn’t mince words in appreciating the Honourables from Anambra Central Senatorial Distinct, among others especially, for their magnanimous impact in Adazi-Nnukwu, Anambra Central Senatorial Distinct, the State, and the country at large.
He further prayed for enduring peace and joy in their lives, while wishing all present at the occasion a safe return to their various destinations.
Several cultural displays and demonstrations formed the major highlights of the event.
