Labour Party Vice Presidential Candidate, Datti-Baba Gives Fresh Directives To ObiDients Ahead of March 11 Elections in Nigeria

AHEAD of the Saturday, March 11 Governorship and the State House of Assembly elections in Nigeria, the Labour Party Vice Presidential candidate for the February, 25th General Elections, Dr. Yusuf Datti-Baba Ahmed has said that power is no longer in the hands of some politicians including the governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo, Nyelsom Wike of Rivers State, Governor El-rufai of Kaduna State, Chief Emeka Ihedioha of Imo State, Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, Sanwa-Olu of Lagos State among others.

Dr. Datti-Baba Ahmed listed the names of the politicians who are begging for the support and votes of the people ahead of the governorship and House of Assembly polls.

The running mate of Mr. Peter Obi did not mince words in describing the politicians seeking the support of Nigerians, especially the youth, following the gimmicks they have adopted to win the attention of the electorates ahead of the final polls.

He, therefore, charged ObiDients to vote for the Labour Party candidates from top to bottom in the Saturday polls.

It would be recalled that the governor of Rivers State, Nyelsom Wike in an address, charged the people of the State to channel efforts toward the victory of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in the Saturday poll.

Wike following the declaration of Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu of the APC as the winner of the presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC boasted that they have successfully achieved the purpose of returning the All Progressives Congress to power.

Similarly the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo has pleaded with the people of Anambra State to vote for the candidates of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA in the upcoming state House of Assembly elections.

Gov. Soludo affirmed that voting for the APGA candidates would enable his administration to fulfill its promises.

It would be recalled that the governor before the general election affirmed that the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi could only be a pathway for the APC to clinch victory in just concluded polls.

Governor Soludo in a detailed piece made different assertions that reportedly infuriated the supporters of Mr. Obi.

Nonetheless, Prof. Soludo has pleaded with the people of Anambra State to vote for the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in the March 11 polls, following the abysmal outing the party recorded in the just concluded general elections.

The calls and pleading of the politicians are sequels to the directive of the Labour Party Presidential candidate and acclaimed winner of the February 25th, 2023 polls, Mr. Peter Obi to vote for the party candidates from top to bottom in the upcoming election.
